The Dakar junior is a variation of our existing 911 model. Brought out in conduction with the 40th anniversary of the legendary win at Dakar - Paris.
Paired with a 15hp 400cc engine, capable of driving this ‘off-road’ replica at speeds of up to 50mph.
On purchase, you will be able to choose from over 150 combinations across the Dakar model, with a range of additional extras and accessories that can be selected to create the junior car.
Winning feeling: The 911 that became a Porsche rally champion
After nearly three weeks of intense driving, Metge and Lemoyne would steer their car to a stunning overall victory in the inaugural outing for a 911 in the race – the first time a sports car had won an event that had become by then one of the highlights of the motorsport calendar. Despite falling to 139th place after a cable fire, Ickx and Brasseur eventually battled their way back up to sixth place by the race’s end, in no small part to the speed, agility and all-wheel drive capability of the 911 Carrera 4x4 (953). Kussmaul and Lerner, meanwhile, finished a highly creditable 26th.

This specific example is finished in the legendary ‘Rothmans’ livery. Hand painted two tone paint, accompanied by the obligatory mud flaps, off-road tyres and seat belts!

Accompanying the vibrant paintwork, the cockpit features two mini bucket seats, Upholstered in Connolly leather and customisable cloth. Leather Moto Lita steering wheel accompanied by dashboard and instrument cluster, Choose from over 50 interior trim packages. Or to match your full size car.
Mechanical
The Dakar Junior is powered by a 15hp 400cc engine, capable of driving this ’off-road’ replica at speeds of up to 50mph – though the speed can be restricted if desired. Rack-and-pinion steering and Brembo hydraulic brakes bring the car to a stop. Paired with independent wishbone suspension, coil-over shock absorbers, as well as 12-inch wheels. The junior car drives like a full size vehicle, simply scaled down. Increased 5’ ground clearance and uprated shocks ensures a smooth drive over any terrain.
